Donations of Face Coverings and Food Needed for Local Farm Workers!

I have been working to collect and deliver donations of face coverings and food to Irvine’s many farm workers, who continue to work to provide food for us during the COVID-19 crisis.

The Chinese American Mutual Association  (CAMA) has generously contributed 1,000 face masks.

We are in need of food donations — especially eggs, rice, beans, tortillas, and Gatorade.

We are also in need of donations of bottled water.

If you can sponsor a lunch for approximately 20 farm workers, please let me know at 949-683-8855.

We will be meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, April 21, from 1:00 -2:00 p.m. at the agricultural field at the corner of Walnut and Jeffrey in Irvine to deliver these donations to the farm workers.  Please follow social distancing guidelines.

If you have further questions, please give me a call at 949-683-8855.

Thank you!

Melissa
