Join Us Friday, April 24, with Donations of Face Coverings, Food and Water for Local Farm Workers!

On Tuesday, April 21, we delivered donations of face coverings, food, and water to Irvine’s many farm workers, who continue to work to provide food for us during the COVID-19 crisis.

The Chinese American Mutual Association  (CAMA) generously contributed 1,000 face masks.  Many others contributed as well, providing local farm workers with eggs, rice, beans, tortillas, Gatorade, and bottled water.

A special thank you goes to my friend and local activist Yesenia Rojas and Congressman Lou Correa (D-CA46), and to Miguel’s Jr. Restaurants.

So many people brought donations that we will be providing more donations of face masks, food and water for farm workers again on Friday!

We will be meeting on Friday, April 24, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am in the parking lot at 5 Sterling, Irvine CA 92618 to accept donations.

Please join us with donations of food (in particular, eggs, rice, beans, and tortillas), as well as Gatorade and bottled water.

You can also drop off food donations at our house at 214 Desert Bloom, Irvine CA 92618, anytime on Thursday or on Friday morning.  We have a table set up outside our front door.

If you have any further questions, please call me at 949-683-8855.

We hope to see you then!
